About Donna
thousands of miles and all the years you have lived.”

I have found my passion!
I love aromatherapy!
"My direct experience and personal journey with clinical aromatherapy has been quite profound. I have such deep reverence for essential oils and the plants from which they come, and am pleased to help others realize their own healing potential. I continue to be blessed to witness the powerful but subtle effects of aromatherapy in my family, friends, and the clients in my practice."
Donna is a certified clinical aromatherapist (CCAP) and M® Technique practitioner, Reiki practitioner and family nurse practitioner. She found aromatherapy over 10 years ago after many years of dabbling in different complementary and alternative therapies in her 30 years of nursing practice. Donna became certified through RJ Buckle Associates in 2005 (rjbuckle.com ), and opened her clinical practice, Holistic Aromatics in 2006. Her aromatic interests include behavior management in dementia, palliative care, wound care, emotional and spiritual healing and animal aromatics. She serves as the Northeast Regional representative for the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (alliance-aromatherpists.org ), a visionary, non-profit organization formed for the purposes of public education through scientific research and educational programs. Donna’s 5 years of practice in long term care as a primary care provider and gero-psychiatric consultant provides a rich background of experience with elders.
She spends her leisure time outdoors, enjoying hiking, snowshoeing and kayaking, playing with her animals, and making jewelery, including beaded aromatic necklaces. She lives in Western Massachusetts with her husband Wayne, and is owned by 2 golden retrievers and 2 cats.
Donna’s sublimely creative stepdaughter, Jenna, is in her 4th year at Hampshire College, concentrating in history and creative writing. Her current venture delves into 18th-century England and synthesizes these two passions in a singular brilliant work.

Women Hiking for Women Healing
2008 will be Donna’s third year hiking in an annual charity event for the Elizabeth Stone House (elizabethstonehouse.org ). Every summer for the past 13 years, over 50 women have departed on a 3-day trek in the While Mountains of New Hampshire to help other women in need. Some will find it relatively easy, others will struggle, all will challenge themselves and most will go higher and farther than they ever dreamed they could. Each woman will raise at least $1,200.00 for the women and children of the "Stone House".
Founded in 1974, The Elizabeth Stone House is a Boston-based non-profit that provides a safe, supportive environment for women in emotional distress, included battered women and their children. It is a place where families heal, grow and reclaim control over all of the decisons which affect their lives. The Stone House runs one of the only affordable mental health programs in the country where women can keep their children with them while receveing help, and one of the very few with fees low enough for all women to afford.
